So I went out to check on the birds, and realized that the coop door had gotten stuck, locking the birds out. I slowly gathered them up off the fence and out of the tree. My EE rooster was pretty freaked out and attacking the rest of the flock once back in the coop. I tried to grab him, and ended up with a handful of his tail. Well, MOST of his tail. He didn't keep much. I think he'll be allright, but I do feel bad. [IMG] Poor guy.

I did bring it in the house and put a hair band around it. It's now sitting in the mug where I keep all my pretty feathers. Now there are quite a few more.
