Hello,

We had 4 babies hatch a week ago under our broody hen. All the babies have the same father (pictured below with 3 potential mothers. The red one on the compost is the potential wellsummer. the light brahma eggs weren't viable).

I was hoping to confirm the mother's with you experts. I do know the one babies mother since it hatched out of the only olive egg. The remaining babies could have the following as a mother:

Delaware
Partridge Cochin
Wellsummer (we think, but she doesn't lay dark eggs)
Blue Laced Red Wyandotte

Here are the babies (gender is just how I think of them):

Baby #1, Oly: He hatched first. He is black and white, has feathered legs, a single comb, and smooth feathers. I'm not sure who his mom is, options are a partridge cochin, a blue laced red wyandotte, a wellsummer, or a delaware.

Baby #2, Poly: Hatched shortly after his brother. He is black and white, has smooth legs, can't tell what kind of comb, and frizzled feathers. I'm not sure who his mom is, options are a partridge cochin, a blue laced red wyandotte, a wellsummer, or a delaware.

Baby #3, Lavender: Last to hatch. She hatched from Josie's egg (Easter Egger). She is grey, has smooth legs, not sure what kind of comb and possible frizzled feathers(?)

Baby #4, Baby Olaf: 3rd to hatch. I *think* she hatched from the Delaware's egg (solely due to her yellow color). She has smooth legs, not sure what kind of comb and possible frizzled feathers(?)

I'm not going to be much help when it comes with the chicks, but is the "Welsummer" pictured in the first pic? If so, she's actually a Partridge Rock and that would explain egg color :)
thats exactly what she is. thanks! that wasn't one of the breeds listed so never considered it. she definitely didn't look like one as a chick though. she had that chipmunk coloring.
