Why are wings different sizes?

    I have 3 Splash Ameraucanas chicks one of them has smaller wings. Any ideas why? They are all 5 days old. [​IMG][/IMG][/IMG]

    Some birds just feather faster than others. Where did you get them? Are they SR? While speed of feathering is not supposed to be an indicator of gender unless it's a specific cross that makes it so, some folks swear that the slower feathering birds tend to be male. Keep an eye on them, and see if that is a correlation with these birds.

    I will definitely monitor the little one. I got them from a breeder near me. He has a great flock.
