I have 9 laying hens, (3 white leghorns, 2 brown leghorns, 2 blackrock, & 2 plymouth barred rock). My question is, why do they keep getting bubble eye? This is the 3rd time in the 18 months i've been keeping them. On the last 2 occasions i have got the medication from the vet, & will again. Just wondering where i'm going wrong.
I believe "bubbly" eyes are a sign of disease (like a chicken cold). I would recommend posting in the "Emergencies/Diseases/Injuries and Cures" section.
Thanks for the advice. I'm new to this forum stuff and not sure where to post bits, but I'll get there
Here's a link to the emergency forum: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/10/emergencies-diseases-injuries-and-cures I hope someone there can help you out.
