Why does my barred rock insist on pecking at everyones feathers!

She has been pecking at everyones feathers and they are looking terrible! I have looked at them and have not seen any bugs or anything like that. Is there another reason she would be pulling feathers and eating them? UGH! She has my roosters neck looking terrible.

Have you changed there feed lately? Could if be stress?

Is she getting enough protein? Feathers are protein and if she's not getting enough in her diet she may be eating feathers to get it. Try giving her some dry cat food as a supplement.

Ok well, no bright lights, they have a warm coop with electric but they have plenty of dark time, no feed changes at all, She may be bored so I will try giving them some treats that take longer to eat and maybe make them some scrambled eggs tomorrow morning to see if that helps. Thanks everyone! She is the only one doing it so maybe she is bored
