i don't know why but at times my roo...that is a long tail breed, seems to drool at times...he was either to old or o young to go in either of my two groups when i got him s he ha his own spa and comes out daily and wanders the yard with me...seems healthy enough but drools at times...kinda backs up from it and drools, anyone know why this is?

I've seen mine do that when he drank a lot of water at one time, and when I picked him up right after he drank water. Feel the crop and make sure he is not compacted or sour. If his crop is okay, I wouldn't worry about it.

Feel the crop and see if it is squishy or hard as a rock. Sour crop birds are usually acting sick, so it is likely not that.
