why dont people ever have mutt birds

people always have pure bred or mixed between two pure bred birds does any one just hatch birds that they raise that are random chicks??

I have alot of mutts I mean I have alot of seperate breeding pens for pure breeds but I love me some mutts!!! I have a lav orp roo over EE's-BO's RIR's-Cochins Polish--sheesh you name it I think I have them together Thise are my egg eating layers and in Summer I let the broody's hatch out mutt eggs-cutest little buggers!!

When you are trying to sell ducks or hatching eggs, it is easier to sell the purebreds...at least for ducks in my area. Other than that, I know a lot of us don't care. One of the best ducks I had was a khaki campbell/buff cross. She was a riot. (A hawk got her)
