Maybe they're just not ready for primetime. They have a reputation for quality and if something isn't perfect, it doesn't behoove them to offer that. I do the same.
The birds actually looked pretty good. They had a nice deep chocolate color with yellow contrasting leg color. On the average they had better coloration than the chocolate Orps. But, we had problems shipping the bantam chicks of this breed. They weren't large enough to hold up to the stress of shipping. So, rather than put the chicks through that ordeal we discontinued breeding them.
