maybe wry tail or a weak tail bed.

Sounds like it could be what they call Rye tail. It is a genetic fault. I read that this is a common problem in Japanese Bantams. I had this problem with one of my Ameraucana roosters. I was told it is a hard thing to breed out so my boy went to a pet home.

Probably a wry tail - crooked tail set - definately a genetic fault.

On my blue wheaten Ameraucana rooster it showed up when he got all of his tail feathers as a 9 week old chick. I also had a BLRW rooster with Rye tail and it showed up early also. [IMG]
