Why my white leghorn chickens has blue earlobes?

    i bought some white leghorn chickens and they has blue earlobes, and they differ from the others who they have white earlobes why can that be a disease or what?

    It would be most helpful if you could take some photos so we can see the birds -- no way to really answer with out seeing them.

    i will take some photos soon, but is that common to leghorns?

    No, it's not. It's likely a sign of mixed breeding. Pics will help see what we're dealing with.

    Don't most silkies have blue earlobes?
    Would also be good to know age of bird in question.
