I was dusting my chickens with for mites this arvo. All of the older chickens, even the rooster were extremely dosile on their back, halfway upside down.
When I did my younger 1o week old chicks they absolutly hated bing turnt over! They protested like crazy! Totally the opposite of the other chickens.
Why is this? Is a wyandott a temperamental breed? Are chicks just a lot more frisky?
