I bought 8 chickens a couple weeks ago from a farmer who raises chickens to sell. He told me they were 22 weeks old which would make them 24 week old now ! I'm to the barn with them no less than 4 times a day talking to them and Interacting with them so thy will get used to me ! They should be laying by now shouldn't they from every thing I've read and researched they should have already started laying! Help please what is goin on! 2 Rhode Island reds an 6 red sex links!

[IMG] Chickens do not handle change well. The change in homes has set them back somewhat. Have their combs become bright red and enlarged. When this starts to happen, they are getting ready to lay.
