Why would I get a bad link in my BYC email notifier?

I was subscribed and posting in a topic, got an email to say an update
occurred and then when I click on it, it tells me that it doesn't exist or
is a bad link? Has the thread been deleted for some reason, maybe?

if you have the author of the thread and the title it -should- come up in the search.

It may have been a post that was removed. If you have the email/link, you could send it to the administrator to look into it further for you.
