Wierd question: Tail "Swishing"

    I have an RIR that has started doing this occasional butt wiggle/tail swish. What does it mean? My other chicken doesn't ever do that.

    I really dont know what it means. Mine will do that on occasion, like their bum itches, LOL.

    My biggest rooster would always do that after flapping his wings. I think ducks do something similar. Maybe it's just a way of moving around all those fluffy feathers! [​IMG]

    I was hoping it was something only hens did...
    I am not giving up hope that this one is a hen until I hear it crow!!!! I will desperately look for any signs I can:D

    All my hens and my little roo guy does it too. I think it's just a thing chickens do when they are happy [​IMG] Yes, like a hair tossing thing lol

    Like a puppy wagging it's tail? Perhaps??I've seen it and that was what it reminded me of.
