Yes, he is a wonderful husband (see "new to chickens in MI "post) who built a wonderful chicken house when we were given 2 gorgeous Icelandic Roos. With all of the issues we have had with predators lately, they can no longer be allowed to free-range...out of 5 chickens,we are down to 1 little gold lace seabright hen & 1 remaining Icelandic roo who was attacked by a possum last night. So, it's way past time I start learning about these little guys & how to PROPERLY care for them (ESP since we just ordered 6 austrolprp pulletts today!). I look forward to picking all of your brains for info!

[IMG] Please check out the predator forum and building coops etc. They provide info on how to keep out , repel or remove preds.
