I have 3 2+ week old baby chicks. My Mottled Java and Olive Egger sometimes will sit in my hand or my lap and do a little wiggle/shake/shimmy like they are settling in. See video. What does this behavior mean or called? I assume it means they are happy but am a 1st time chicken mom and am curious about this adorable behavior.

Can't seem to figure out how to upload video so here is the link:

My goodness! My Chick was doing this as well! Like, lying on its side and flapping its wings all around and like, going is circles on its side! It almost seems like a dust bath try. I got so scared though, cause she would lay there for a second in between "rounds" and the others would start pecking all the stuff from her. It seems to wear her out, and she just lays there. When I intervene she jumps up and is normal. I was so scared that maybe she had an injured wing or something. I too would like to know what it means, lol
