I would post this in the https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/11/raising-baby-chicks forum or the https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/10/emergencies-diseases-injuries-and-cures forum. First do you have a comfortable place for it? (a card board box with towels or shavings in it will do) Can you tell if it has an external injuries? Try give it electrolytes? Also do your best to make sure it is warm.

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

First thing you need to do is get him into a large cardboard box so there are no drafts and keep in warm. If he is very very tiny, he needs to be kept at 85 to 90 degrees. Us chicken keepers use heat lamps to keep the temp up in the box. Lay a thermometer down on the floor underneath the lamp so you know what temp it is and don't over heat the little guy. Do not cover the lid with anything but a screen or wire for good heat and oxygen exchange. Use an eye dropper and get water into him, squeezing it on to the front of his lower beak, in front of the tongue.

You can use a jelly jar lid for water. If you dont' have any chicken feed available, you can feed him warmed chopped hard boiled eggs for now. Don't leave any around too long however as they and grow bacteria in the high heat of the lamp.

Keep us posted an if he survives we can go from here. :) I hope the little one makes it!!

Do any of your neighbors have chickens? Maybe they could help you out. Are you sure it is a chick and not some baby wild bird ?
