Wild chicks!!!

    My chicks are really wild!! They scream and kick when I pick them up. How can I gain there trust?

    Yep, a way to the chicken's heart is food! Hold treats in your hand to lure them over.
    Hang out with them. Pet them when they are on their roost to get them used to being touched. I also talk to them too.

    Nah, not chick starter. Something they reeeeally like. Try peas, fruit, cheese, greens,...something specially good.

    I agree with Okie. I find they need something different from their regular food to peak their interest. We use meal worms, corn or watermelon.

    My Orps will about take your fingers off going for cheese. I just chop it in little bits.
