For a couple months a pair of helmeted guineafowl have been in our neighborhood. We could not find owners. One of the pair got eaten by coyotes last night and remaining guineafowl is calling plaintively. Don't want to see same thing happen to him/her. Would anyone in San Diego county like to adopt this bird into their flock?

I just PM'd escondidobirder if he/she is caught then I can bring em up to my house. But I cant run if he/she is loose.

Is the Guinea saying Buck wheat Buck wheat? If so its a girl and I would be glad to add another female to my three girls and four boys. If its a male I will take him too. But only the females say Buckwheat.
