can you crossbreed wild turkies with royal palms. I want my wild turkies to be more tame but I also want a odd colored turkey or just not so plain.

You breed wilds to to Royal Palms and you are going to have Narragansettes. Beautiful birds

What do you get when you cross a wild turkey to a bourbon red?

This might be what you get when you cross a bourbon red with an Eastern wild. At least this is what I got.

Quote:Learned something new again on BYC. I bought some Bourbon Red hatching eggs in June and was surprised when one poult didn't quite look like the others. I've since figured out that it's a Narragansett. I do love my BR's, but the Narragansett is stunning!

    Thanks!
