I have a pineapple that's been on the counter too long.
Can I toss it to the girls?

Quote:I would not, I used to delivery produce to restaurants when I lived in the keys. Pineapple when it gets to old the sugar turns to alcohol, not sure of the content but the taste and smell are strong if sit too long.

As much fun as it might be to watch drunken chickens...I'll throw it in the compost.
