Will a rooster try to breed at 5 weeks old???!!!!

I have 5 week old, mixed straight run (supposedly) bantams..... One is a huge either cochin or brahma. I "think" he is a roo based on some behaviors he has been displaying but not 100% sure yet due to age. He has been very cozy lately with one of the docile hens (I think she's a hen). Today, he mounted her three times and grabbed her neck as if he was mating. None of the other chicks have tried this. Has anyone else every experienced this behavior and at FIVE WEEKS????

They will display mating behavior at a young age, yes. They are obviously not fertile yet, but that is pretty normal.
