Will chicks survive at room temperature

Are you wanting to hatch under a broody or do you want to incubate?
I incubate in the house (very little temp. fluctuation) and have a home made brooder for the chicks to go into after they are dry. Bitties stay in the brooder in the house until they are feathered out enough and hen house temp. is ok. When I move them to the hen house I keep them in a cage for a few weeks with food/water & light for heat.
Eggs hatch at about 100*
Bitties in the brooder are at 95* to 100* for the 1st week.
2nd week @ 90*to 95*,
3rd week @ 85* to 90* and so on.

If you're going to use a broody........not to worry, if she's a good Mom she'll look after her bitties.
