Will his feathers grow after mauling injury

My 1st post here 12 days ago was sad. Dog mauled chickens on the street. The rooster survived his injuries & seems happy & eats well.
Antibiotic, dusting & worming plus being safe but he looks awful. Will he ever look pretty again ?
He has a friend now & I will get him another 2. The amazement & awe of holding a warm freshly laid egg has won me over. You can all laugh but always been a city slicker until the last 4 years.
Here he is. Feathers ? & his friend who is slightly mauled too.

They more than likely will grow back. My Silkie roo that was attacked lost a huge chunk of his back. It filled in from the bottom up, and you can't even tell where the injury was now
