I have 2 Peking ducks that I have been keeping inside. I also have 2 cats that like to lie on my back porch in the sun and a little Pomeranian that`s about 15 weeks old. I have been wanting to turn loose my ducklings in my huge fenced in yard, but I`m afraid my 2 cats will hurt them that stay outside by their choice not mine. The dog seems to run the inside LoL. My question is has anyone else had ducks with cats and can they get along outside together?

We have bantam ducks and cats don't bother them. I have seen the ducks chase off a neighbor cat but our cat hangs out with them and our chickens all the time.

Depends on the ducks age. Our cat would love to eat a chick or duckling but once they are about the size of the cat they are safe. At least that's how my cats are.
