My hen is broody and today is her 2nd day. I was going to order some eggs and put then in the bator sometime this week but when they hatch can I give them to my hen?? will she accept them?

Why not just put the eggs under the hen and let her hatch them?

Quote:I would but she's a bantam and she has 10 eggs under her so there's no more room. That's why I want to hatch some in the bator and give them to her

This worked for me with my silkie hen, Tina:
Once the chicks were dry from the incubator, I waited until dark, and slipped the chick under Tina from the back. She had only one chick. I did this one at a time with 3 chicks. She accepted them all.
