Will my hen 'get mad at me' or hold a grudge against me?

I've 'tucked' one of my hens every night since she was about 5 weeks old, holding her on my lap for a while every night, and I haven't been here for the past 2 days, and now i'm going to be gone again the next 2. Will she be upset with me? I know chickens can hold grudges...

Chickens (as with most animals) get used to routine. If you cannot be there to tuck her in, then there isn't much you can do. But I think she should get over it.

I think that you will have more problems with the absence than she will.

You may have to hear about it for awhile but she'll eventually forget. Treats are always a great way to give an apology!

Thanks ^^ usually after I come back I give her attention and bring her mealworms or grasshoppers.
