Will my pullets still lay after trauma?

I have 22-23 week old pullets that haven't started laying yet. Early Sunday morning and again early this morning dogs got into their coop and killed 9 each time.

Will the trauma from all of this keep the surviving ones (16) from laying completly or just delay them?

And, yes, we're working on a better security system since the door latches have now failed twice.

I had the a similar experience. The chickens did eventually start to lay. I have also had laying chickens encounter a predator; and they stopped laying for about two weeks. Then everything went back to normal. Hope this helps !!

It will delay their laying a bit, but will not stop them completely,
