We just got a new duck to add on to our flock. Our three hens have been pecking her. Are our chickens going to allow her into the flock or are they going to keep pecking her ? Please respond as soon as you can.

You should put it in a separate pen on a look no touch training.
Hens do and have a high pecking order.
Put it in a crate for a few day and only try putting together if your there to watch over them..

Also sometimes it never works out. My hens hate my ducks.

Thanks for the information! I will give that a try. It sounds like a great plan. Hopefully in time they will get along.

They should but it might take time....Is your Duck a Drake or a hen?? If a Drake it might try breeding your hens and that is not going to workout very well...Drakes can kill chickens. My friend this year caught her drake swinging her hen by the neck....
