My neighbor has a flock across the yard and they have multiple roos. Mine and theirs crow back and forth with each other and that's about it. There was one instance when one of the neighbor's roos came over and started chasing my hens. My head roo tore into him one time and he (the neighbor roo) never came back again. If you and your neighbors aren't really close, I doubt your roo will stray far from his hens and vice versa

It will depend on distance, and breed types. Some birds roam a bit further than others. They will have crowing contests! If they are too close (next door) fencing will be a good choice. Mary
