We've had the little EEs since last Monday. So far this one seems to be keeping up but realistically, is there any hope for this chick?
What can we do for it? This is heartbreaking, it's the nicest one of the 7 - will jump right in your hand and really likes attention.

Found him in the cage last night after church with what looked like a broken neck.
Don't think he starved, earlier in the day he was eating ok.
The crossed beak was getting worse every day, though. Probably for the best that it didn't have to suffer.
Guess we'll never know if 'he' was a 'she', and that blue color was starting to come in nicely too.

I wonder if anyones tried a rubber band around the bill to try to make it normal/straight(like the bands for my kids braces). Put it on for a couple hours, take it off a couple so it can eat and drink, rinse repeat
