What are the dimensions for your nests? Those look EXACTLY like what I need to build! I've got 11 hens now, with plans for another dozen come spring.

    Thanks,
    Kathy

Quote:The dimensions are 12"x12"x12" not including the roost. I used 1/2" plywood and 2"x2"s for the roost and the inside supports. One 12 hole 3 row as shown only takes 2= 4x8 sheets of plywood and 4=2x2's so they were very cheap to build, and only took 3 hrs to build, The birds seem to really use them well and I have all heavy breeds. I hope this helps.

    Thank You! Kind Sir.

Knowing the dimensions, and how much plywood you used, I THINK I can sketch out a cutting diagram for hubby. I'll give it a try anyway.

Once I have the original sketched out, then I can adapt it for 15" square nestboxes.

    Again, Thanks!
