[IMG]:cdMy question is when your chickens start to molt or just not laying like they should can you supplement their layer with some starter? Starter has a higher protein level then regular layer. Will this hurt them or help them?

Higher protein would be helpful. If you can get unmedicated starter or starter with only amprolium you should have no problem.

Might want to check your feed store for "Layer Supplement" as that is formulated for layers and has min protein here of 20% which is the same as our starter.
