Well, he just began the application process today, it could be anywhere from a few days to several months before we know if he's accepted or not.

He wants to become a TI for basic training. Which means we'd be going to Lackland (sp?) in Texas.

I found a Lackland City, Lackland Heights, and Lackland Terrace.. Each one of them is right outside of San Antonio. Home of.. Sea World!

Really, there's a Sea World?

Yes, I knew Lackland was in San Antonio.

Anyone know how hard it will be to find a place that allows chickens and goats???

I called around to every place I could find on the internet regarding "livestock regulations" and no one seems to know anything. Not even the Bexar County AG office.

Sorry.

I was trying to find the zoning and stuff with no luck. I'm way north of San Antonio so I'm not sure, but in Lackland you should be in Bexar County (most of san Antonio is). But I'm sure you won't have any problem finding somthing that would be suitable, it might just be a little drive if all else fails.

that you get to make your home in San Antonio TX. I think you should have no problem finding a home where you can have your critters there with ya. George Strait lives out there in that part somewhere on the outskirts. Do yall have to live right outside of the base or can you go a littl way out from it?
