Will you cross your fingers and toes for me??

Well, he just began the application process today, it could be anywhere from a few days to several months before we know if he's accepted or not.

He wants to become a TI for basic training. Which means we'd be going to Lackland (sp?) in Texas.

I think that we should all drop his commanding officer personage a letter, demanding that he be accepted and that you get the move to Texas that you desire..... what do you think ? then we can all come and visit.........

I appreciate the sentiment, but I don't think that would help. The military doesn't do real well with commands coming from civilians

I'm not sure. At this base, as a cop, we can't live farther than 30 minutes away in case he gets recalled, either that, or when they are on six-ring he has to stay in town. But that's at this base, for cops. I'm not sure if the same rules apply to TI's.

At the very least we'd be able to live about 40 miles away.

Kelli, I'm crossin' my fingers right after I finish typing this. Eyes already crossed.

- I'm not much for crossing fingers, but I'm good at hugs and prayers! Praying that you'll end up in Texas if that's where you're meant to be! Best wishes for you two!

Thanks guys, you are all the bestest in the westest!

I had to go in for an interview last night to make sure that I'm supportive and want this to happen. Scott (my dh) has three more tests, another interview and has to get his picture taken. It's a very involved process...
