I have a 10 x 10 shed that I am converting to a coop. I have built a wall so that the chickens will have approx 6 x 10 and the remainder of the building will be used to house the feed and such. The nest boxes are built so we can get the eggs from the storage side. I am looking at aluminum windows on ebay now for it. I will put 4 windows in with 2 facing south in the chicken side for winter solar heat and two in the east and west walls in the storage side for light and ventilation. There are basically 2 sizes available 14x24 and 18x27. Which size would you think would be the best for this setup?

Yep, I like the larger windows too. The whole purpose is to allow light in, and ventilation when needed on warm days...bigger is better in my opinion.

I have curtains for the windows, when shade is needed also.

Huh.. That's a really good price for 4 windows... Assuming you're talking about from the seller theresas117?

I've got to keep that in mind when I build the garden shed. Let us all know how the quality is when you get them!
