wing clipping

My 7 week old RIR's have discovered..flight! one has flown to the top of the run. What is the correct way to clip wings!

Try this link. Also in YouTube search "clipping chickens wings" and you will get some more. I really liked this guy because he is trying chickens for the first time and has a bunch of episodes that are about his garden and chickens. Funs stuff.

i watched the youtube video and then just did it, cut 10 or so feathers, they will try to fly, find it confusing and quit trying
