Winter bedding for ducks.

Hi...I have two large Peking Ducks.
I'm a worrier in the winter that they will be cold or ? Frostbite on their feet....
Can anyone give some good ideas regarding bedding....a good type of "home" for them. Do I put them in the shed with my hens and rooster?? Right now they have just a little closed in wood house....No bedding at all.

What are your winter temps like? The ducks will need water even during the winter to at least dunk their head to clear their "noses". Their feet are remarkably "frost proof" But you don't want them to be slopping water all over the bedding where the chickens are. If they have some hay or straw to bed down in in their house, and access to fresh water outside, they should be fine. You may need to give them a heated waterer or take water out to them several times/day if the water freezes.
