In context of winter egg laying, is there much of a difference between Red Star and Rhode Island Red breeds?
My Rhode Island Red produce great eggs in the spring/summer (too many eggs), but hardly any in the mild winter (not enough eggs). Asking if there's a better breed that need less daylight to produce winter eggs.
Thanks,
Jake
