Finally got a nice night pen done just in time for winter! It is much closer to the house. It is attached to a metal shed that is filled with bedding which I think right now they only use to lay eggs. I have the rope lights on a remote so I can check on them from the house if i hear something. Hubby keeps wondering why the the ducks cost 4 dollars and then demand an expensive housing system lol! But when they quack and honk at you in the morning it warms your heart!

That is HILARIOUS....your husband wondering why something that is SUPPOSE to cost $4...well, doesn't really! That really is funny.

LOVE your set up....I really like how it is attached to the shed and you saying the shed floor is covered with bedding. Nice....I really like it. And the rope lights...nice touch!
