Hi! I'm super excited to begin my flock, but I'm getting conflicting information as to whether having chickens here is ok.
Is there anyone else in SW PA that has a definite answer?
    Thanks so much!

Hello there and welcome to BYC! [IMG]

I do not know, but you might stop by our Laws and Regulations forums and see if maybe your area is talked about or start a new thread on this. Someone in your area or state may know...https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/37/local-chicken-laws-ordinances-and-how-to-change-them

You can also call your local city hall and usually they can tell you all you need to know.

Good luck and I sure hope you can keep chickens! :)

    Welcome to our roost!

I would check with your village or town hall. Others may be giving you false hope because they interpret the laws in their own fashion.
