Woo-hoo! They hatched!

    I just hatched 19 out of 25 eggs from CJ! My 1st time with a bator. I learned...DO NOT use a liner over wire. I COULD NOT get the humidity up for anything! Once I removed liner, it shot up. Also, I was putting water in the hole where the turner cord comes out instead of pouring through holes on top & watering eggs. I think some of the water ran UNDER the liner instead. Got humidty up just before they started pipping. Helped a few & they made it. 6 didn't make it, but I think that's a pretty good # for my 1st time. Will try to get pics if I can figure out how to attach them. Real beauties! [​IMG]

    [​IMG] That is an amazingly great hatch percentage for anyone, but especially for your first time! [​IMG] You should be very proud of yourself, you never know, you may just be a natural at it!!![​IMG]
