Do you really need to drop the babies 20 feet to get them to eat and drink ??

I googled it really quick for you. Seems to be an Old Wive's Tale. Many people have raised them successfully without even hearing the "dropping requirement". I think you'll be fine without dropping your baby, especially not from 20ft.
