Around early or mid april a woodchuck moved in to my neighbors backyard. First time a woodchuck has ever been around. It dug its den under her shed which is three feet from our fence. Of course she thinks its cute. It ate all my snow peas and started digging under my shed. I had my grandpa lined up to come and shoot it. But now I havent seen it this month and it hasn't eaten any of the lettuce I planted.
I've planted the rest of my garden and fill the holes on my side of the fence and there are no signs.

Im still a little paranoid that it's off mating or something and will be back. What do you think is going on?

I'd put some small type wire around your garden.. and maybe even bury it in the ground also... so it cant dig under the fence...
    I dont know...
Good luck.. they are stubborn things.
