    Wow, good for you. [​IMG] I woke up early yesterday morning to find one lurking by my back door. I need one of those traps.

    They scared me half to death with their snarling when I went out to check the trap this morning... but I was so excited. I ran and got DH to show him [​IMG] I understand they are trying to survive too, but they won't do it on my chickens!!

    Whatever did you use for bait? Must have been something awfully tempting to them! Oh wait, I can see it in picture #2, is that canned sardines? Their greediness did them in.

    Once I had 3 traps all set in the same corner of the yard. And don't you know I had caught 3 raccoons, one in each trap, the next morning? I could see how one raccoon could get itself stuck in a trap. And even a second one, not noticing the first one in a panic over being trapped. But the third one has no excuse, there already were 2 others rattling the sides of their traps, and it still went into the third trap.
