Finally! After expecting them on Wednesday and having the order bumped (without them letting me know, thanks!) I kept waking up thru the nite, REFUSING to look at the clock. Finally looked it was 6:30. Hmmm, won't call the PO till after the Express comes at 9. 
39 I am dialing the PO and the phone rings. One of the ladies at the PO asking if anyone has called me about my chicks! Nope. She said she just spotted my note on the board from Wednesday and the address was the same, but the phone number on the box was different. Seems Cackle wrote down 1395 as the last 4 numbers instead of 9395. Understandable, except that they had it written in several places, like, on the order form, on the check, plus I had called and they confirmed it. *SIGH* but...
I got my critters!
GOOD GRIEF! I think they felt sorry for me that they messed up and didn't send them when they were supposed to.
My order was:
10 Araucana pullets (the ones that lay colored eggs)
10 brown egg laying pullets = 1 rooster
1 pair of ducks
1 pair of geese
1 pair of turkeys
10 assorted rare breed chicks
They told me they wouldn't have geese until April, but if I didn't want to wait they would give me 2 extra ducks instead and they adjusted the price (geese cost more)
SO....
What did I get?
26 assorted chicks (I have to take a closer look to see how many are the Araucanas)
I will be posting pics probably tonite for an identification fest for all who would like to participate!
12 brown egg layers + 1 rooster (they all match, look like BO's but not sure)
3 turkeys
And 6 ducks! (2 different breeds)
I had to set up a second brooder box and am heading back to CoOp to get another set of feed and water dishes!
SO far all seem happy healthy and HUNGRY!
Gotta go get more stuff!
