Have you ever gotten an egg that tiny before?! Look how little! Wonder what happened!
Just this year a brown egg just a bit smaller then a $.50 piece. Have no clue why?
I've had several eggs that small, and one that was just a tiny bit bigger than a dime once. They're pretty cool!
I heard it could be an old hen... or a I have heard a new bird... But no new birds... We do have 1 -2 old ones... but they are only like 2-3 yrs old
How rare is a tiny egg we got one yesterday that is about 2.5 centemeters and weighs in at 10 grams almost round and has a rough shell
That's not rare at all Young hens just starting out will lay "wind" or "fart" eggs - usually tiny things with no yolks. On the other end of the age spectrum, I just got two eggs smaller than yours from my very old hens. They're trying to lay, but not able to make a normal eggs. One looked like a speckled wild-bird's egg. Very cute.
I got 3 little eggs over about 10 days from one of my new hens. Each egg had a tiny yolk in it.
