Is it possible to find worms in my hen's eggs? Every once in awhile my Barred Rock hen has this. I hard boil the egg and there is a rice sized brown ''thing'' in the white of the egg.
    Thanks

I have no experience with it but I've read several debates on here where some say it isn't possible and some say it is! [IMG] I guess proof is when you see it for yourself huh?? [IMG]

Yes. It is possible, but not likely. Most likely you're dealing with a meat spot as Imp stated.

Gross! The round worms look sick and I sure hope I never find a lizard in an egg! HAHA!

Should I deworm my chickens?? They have a very clean coop, large and lots of grassy area to run free. Their "yard" is about 150 x 30 feet.
