Is there a medication that takes care of all worms including tape worm? I have had to recently worm my dogs for roundworm, hookworm and tapeworm! I think I should do the chickens too, just to be safe. Also, is there something I need to do in their run? Can they get the worms from the ground? Is there a link someone can direct me to for info on this? Thanks in advance! The chickens and dogs do not mix, but their run is in a place where the dogs used to play.
One and one half cc per gallon of drinking water, ie, or 4.5 cc for 3 gallons of water. Leave for 24 hours, then remove and give fresh water. Repeat one month later. This is my regimen, twice a year. I have had no worms in my chickens. DonnaBelle
Oops, I forgot to put Ivermection, liquid from the feed store. I also use Ivermection for my dogs. .10 cc per 10 lbs. of body weight. This will not affect tapeworms, must worm separately for those. Tapeworms are from infected fleas that get on dogs and the dog swallows the flea, hence the worms. DonnaBelle
Thank you! Will piperazine work for tapeworm? My girls are 10 weeks old, should I wait to see if they get worms or go ahead and treat since my dogs have been infected?
