I gave my girls piperazine last thursday, I know I can't eat the eggs for 2 weeks but when does that 2 weeks start? Does it start when you first start treating them or when the medicated water has been drunk? And do they need to take all of the medicated water for the treatment to work?

If you removed the piperazine after 24 hours per instructions...that's when the countdown begins and ends 14 days later.

I didn't do that. I read the instructions and didn't see that anywhere. Shouls I remove it now? Have I made a really bad mistake?

If you've had the wormer out beyond 24 hours, yes, get rid of it and provide them regular freshwater.
